It fits well in home offices or living rooms where you want a recliner that also provides shiatsu massage and heat therapy.
Who should skip it
You should skip this option if you prefer app-based control, as this model relies on a physical remote. It lacks smart home integration or voice command features. Key specs explained for this chair
Track Type: SL Track
An SL track curves to follow the natural shape of your spine, moving from the neck down to the glutes. This design allows the massage nodes to align with your body’s contours more effectively than a straight L-track. You get coverage for both the upper back and the lower back in one continuous motion, which is ideal for people who want comprehensive support without gaps in the massage.
Track Length: 1.4m
A 1.4-meter track length covers a significant portion of your back, extending from the shoulders to the lower back. This length ensures that taller users receive adequate coverage without the massage ending abruptly. When comparing chairs, a longer track generally provides a more complete experience for adults, reducing the chance of missing key pressure points along the spine during your session.
Massage Technique: Shiatsu
Shiatsu massage uses kneading and pressing motions to target specific pressure points on your body. This technique mimics the fingers of a therapist, providing deep tissue relief that can help reduce muscle tension. If you prefer firm, targeted pressure over gentle rolling, this method is suitable for you. It is particularly effective for relieving stiffness in the shoulders and lower back after a long day.
Auto Programs: 7
This chair includes seven automatic massage procedures that run predefined sequences for you. These programs vary in intensity, speed, and focus areas, allowing you to choose a routine that matches your current needs. You do not need to manually adjust settings for each step. This feature is helpful if you want a consistent, hands-off experience or if you are unsure which specific massage mode to select.
Control Method: Remote controls
The chair is operated using a dedicated remote control, allowing you to adjust settings without relying on a smartphone app. This method offers direct, tactile feedback for changing modes, intensity, and positions. It is a practical choice for users who prefer physical buttons or do not want to manage Bluetooth connections. You can easily access all functions while seated comfortably in the recliner.
Design and build specs
According to the listing, this PayLessHere chair measures 58.3 inches in length, 29.2 inches in width, and 41.3 inches in height. It weighs 149 pounds. The exterior finish is black. These dimensions suggest a footprint that fits standard home office or living room spaces. The weight indicates a sturdy frame, though you may need assistance moving it into position.
The control layout relies on a handheld remote. This allows you to adjust the recline and massage settings without standing up. The chair supports zero gravity positioning, which aligns your heart and knees horizontally. This angle helps reduce pressure on your heart and may improve blood circulation during use. You do not need to leave your reclined position to operate the controls.
Audio is handled by built-in Bluetooth speakers located at the armrest. You can connect your phone, iPad, or other devices to play music during your session. The chair also includes heat therapy and foot rollers with air bags. These features complement the main massage functions. The design prioritizes full-body coverage and ease of use through physical controls rather than a smartphone app.
Setup and everyday use guide
The PayLessHere chair weighs 149 pounds and measures 58.3 by 29.2 by 41.3 inches. You will likely need two people to move it into position. The black finish fits standard home office or living room decor. Once placed, you connect the power supply to operate the unit.
Control is handled entirely via the included remote. This allows you to adjust the recline and massage settings without leaving your seat. The zero gravity feature positions your heart and knees on the same horizontal line. You activate this by pressing a button on the remote. This angle helps reduce heart pressure during use.
The chair includes built-in Bluetooth speakers located on the armrest. You can pair your smartphone, iPad, or other electronic devices to play music while you relax. The audio connection is wireless, so you do not need extra cables.
For daily operation, you select one of the seven automatic massage procedures. The system adjusts the massage nodes based on your height. The 1.4-meter SL track moves rollers from your neck down to your glutes. The foot area features air bags and rollers for kneading. Heat therapy is also available to complement the Shiatsu massage technique. You simply choose your preferred program and let the chair handle the rest. No app or complex setup is required for these core functions.
Before You Buy This Chair
Before you buy this chair, check your space. The listing notes it measures 58.3 by 29.2 by 41.3 inches. Ensure you have enough room for the zero gravity recline. You also need a standard power outlet nearby. The chair uses remote controls, so keep it within reach. Bluetooth speakers are built into the armrests. You must pair your own phone or tablet to use them. The chair offers seven automatic programs and heat therapy. If you prefer manual adjustments, this remote-only control might feel limiting compared to other options. Clean the black surface with a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
