This ketaiyou power swivel rocker recliner review focuses on the TYD9911 model in light grey. It is a power recliner designed for comfort and convenience. The two defining specs are its 90-160 degree electric recline angle and its 270 degree swivel base. These features allow you to adjust your position easily and rotate the chair for better room access. The unit also includes massage and heat functions. It measures 30.7 inches wide and weighs 105 pounds. This review explains how these specifications fit your needs.
What stands out
- 270-degree swivel base for full rotation
- Electric recline from 90 to 160 degrees
- 5 massage modes with 2 heat settings for the lumbar area
- Built-in USB and Type-C charging ports
Who it fits
Good fit for
You will like this chair if you need easy mobility adjustments. The power recline and swivel base help you get in and out with minimal effort. The massage and heat features suit those who want targeted relief for their back and legs. The side pockets and cup holders add practical storage. If you want a sturdy, wide chair that rotates, this model fits your living room setup well.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you prefer manual controls. This recliner relies on electric motors for reclining and swiveling. You might also want to skip it if you need heat in more than just the lumbar zone. The massage targets the back, thighs, and lower legs, but the heat is specific. Additionally, the 105-pound weight makes it heavy to move. If you need a compact chair under 30 inches wide, this 30.7-inch model may be too large.
Verdict: This recliner offers solid electric comfort with swivel and massage specs. It suits buyers who value power adjustments and targeted heat.
Key specs explained for this chair
Reclining Function: 90-160°
This electric recline angle lets you adjust from upright to nearly flat. You can find a comfortable position for reading or napping. The range suits most adults, but taller users may need to check seat depth. When shopping for massage chairs, compare this range to see if it meets your comfort needs for full relaxation.
Reclining Function: 270° swivel
The base rotates nearly a full circle, allowing you to face any direction without moving the chair. This is useful in tight spaces or when you want to interact with others in the room. It adds versatility compared to fixed recliners. Check your floor space to ensure the swivel motion does not hit walls or furniture.
Heat Therapy Zones: Lumbar
Heat is applied only to the lower back area. This targets specific muscle tension where many people carry stress. It does not heat the legs or shoulders. If you need full-body warmth, look for chairs with multiple zones. This single zone is sufficient for focused relief after a long day of sitting.
Weight: 105 pounds
This weight indicates a sturdy frame that can support regular use without wobbling. It also means the chair is heavy enough to stay in place during rocking. Moving it requires effort, so plan your placement carefully. Compare this to lighter models if you need frequent relocation, but note that heavier units often feel more durable.
Design and build overview
The Ketaiyou TYD9911 is a rocker recliner finished in light grey upholstery. According to the listing, the frame supports a total weight of 105 pounds. The external dimensions are 30.7 inches wide, 29.1 inches deep, and 39 inches tall. These measurements suggest a standard footprint that fits most living rooms. The 270-degree swivel base allows you to rotate the chair almost fully around. This layout lets you face different directions without moving the entire unit. The rocking function adds a gentle motion for relaxation.
Control is handled via a built-in button panel and a remote. The electric adjustment moves the backrest from 90 to 160 degrees. This range covers seated reading to near-flat lounging. The chair includes dual side pockets and two cup holders on the armrests. These storage spots keep small items and drinks within reach. A USB and Type-C port are also built into the frame. You can charge mobile devices while seated. The heat therapy targets only the lumbar area with two intensity settings. The massage system offers five modes for the back, thighs, and lower legs. The design prioritizes functional convenience over complex aesthetics. The finish is simple and durable for daily use.
Setup and daily operation guide
The Ketaiyou TYD9911 arrives as a substantial piece of furniture, weighing 105 pounds. You will need to assemble the base and attach the upholstery. The manufacturer provides a 12-month warranty for free replacement parts, which suggests that some components may require initial installation or future maintenance. Once assembled, the chair sits on a swivel base that rotates 270 degrees. This allows you to reposition the chair easily within your living space without lifting the heavy frame.
Daily operation relies on electric controls. You adjust the recline angle from 90 to 160 degrees using the built-in buttons. This mechanism replaces manual levers, offering smooth transitions between upright and semi-flat positions. The rocking function activates via the same control system, providing gentle motion for relaxation.
For entertainment and convenience, the chair includes dual cup holders on the armrests and side pockets for small items. You can charge devices using the built-in USB and Type-C ports located on the unit. The massage system operates through a dedicated remote control. You select from five modes targeting the back, lumbar, thighs, and lower legs. You can adjust intensity levels and activate heat therapy in the lumbar zone. The heat feature offers two settings to provide warmth during use. All functions are controlled remotely, keeping your hands free for reading or resting. The design prioritizes straightforward interaction with each feature.
Before You Buy This Recliner
You should verify your home layout before buying this Ketaiyou chair. The 30.7-inch width and 29.1-inch depth require adequate floor space. Since it swivels 270 degrees, ensure nearby furniture allows full rotation without obstruction. The 105-pound weight means you may need help moving it into position. Check that your power outlets are accessible for the electric recline and massage functions. This unit fits well if you want a recliner with swivel and massage, but it is not a full massage chair. It lacks the comprehensive body coverage of dedicated spa equipment. If you need deep tissue therapy for your entire back, look at larger massage chairs. This rocker suits you if you prioritize convenience and moderate relaxation. Keep the light grey upholstery clean with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals to maintain the fabric. The USB and Type-C ports are useful, so keep your charging cables nearby. This chair complements a living room setup rather than a dedicated therapy room.
Check before you buy
- Measure your room to fit the 30.7-inch width and 29.1-inch depth.
- Ensure power outlets are near your desired seating location.
- Check if nearby furniture blocks the 270-degree swivel range.
- Confirm you have help moving the 105-pound unit.

Frequently asked questions
Does this recliner have massage functions?
Yes, the Ketaiyou Power Swivel Rocker Recliner includes basic massage features. The product data lists it as suitable for users who value directional movement and these built-in massage options. It does not, however, offer advanced smart connectivity or comprehensive full-body heat coverage, keeping the feature set simple.
How wide is the Ketaiyou swivel recliner?
The chair measures 30.7 inches in width. This dimension helps you determine if it fits your intended space. You should also consider the 29.1-inch depth and 39-inch height to ensure adequate clearance for the 270-degree swivel base and the electric recline function without hitting nearby walls or furniture.
What is the weight capacity of this chair?
The listing states the frame supports a total weight of 105 pounds. This figure likely refers to the chair's own weight rather than a user weight limit. You should check the manufacturer's specific user weight capacity in the full product manual or detailed spec sheet before purchasing to ensure safety.
Can the Ketaiyou recliner swivel completely around?
Yes, it features a 270-degree swivel base. This allows for significant directional movement, making it easy to face different areas of the room. You need to ensure there is enough floor space around the chair to allow this rotation without the base hitting other objects or walls.
Is the Ketaiyou TYD9911 a rocker or a glide?
It is classified as a rocker recliner. This type of chair moves in a forward and backward arc rather than sliding on a flat track. The power mechanism assists this motion, combining the traditional rocking feel with electric convenience for easier entry and exit or relaxation.
What color options are available for this model?

How much floor space does this recliner need?
You need space for its 30.7-inch width and 29.1-inch depth. Additionally, the 270-degree swivel base requires clearance for rotation.
