Comrelax HY-6130 vs Shiatsu Pad
Massage Mechanism
The Comrelax HY-6130 Shiatsu Back Massager uses four rotating nodes for deep kneading and two vibration motors for the seat. This setup focuses on back and hip relief. The Comrelax Shiatsu Pad Adjustable Neck features traveling rollers that move along the back, combined with two vibration motors in the seat. The rollers allow you to select full back, upper back, lower back, or spot mode. Both offer three intensity levels. The HY-6130 uses fixed rotating nodes, while the pad uses moving rollers for broader coverage options.
Neck Support
Only the Comrelax Shiatsu Pad Adjustable Neck includes a dedicated neck pillow. You can slide it up or down to match your height. It also has an air bladder you can inflate or deflate with a hand pump for personalized support. The pillow has built-in heat. The Comrelax HY-6130 Shiatsu Back Massager does not have a neck pillow or adjustable neck support. It covers the back, waist, hips, and thighs, but leaves the neck area untreated. If you need neck relief, the pad is the only choice.
Coverage Area
Both products target the back, hips, and thighs with heat and massage. The Comrelax Shiatsu Pad Adjustable Neck adds neck coverage with its adjustable pillow. Its dimensions are 15 x 11 x 27 inches, designed for high-back chairs. The Comrelax HY-6130 Shiatsu Back Massager measures 10 x 6 x 5 inches. It is smaller and fits on sofas, chairs, or recliners using a strap system. The pad covers more vertical surface area due to its height. The HY-6130 is more compact for versatile placement on various furniture types.
Upholstery Material
Both devices use PU leather for their seating and massage surfaces. The Comrelax HY-6130 combines PU leather with breathable mesh for added comfort and durability. The mesh helps with airflow and makes the material sweat-resistant. You can wipe it clean with a damp cloth. The Comrelax Shiatsu Pad Adjustable Neck also uses wipe-clean PU leather for the seating area. It does not mention mesh material in its specifications. Both materials are easy to maintain, but the HY-6130 offers a mixed-material design for breathability.
Compatibility
The Comrelax Shiatsu Pad Adjustable Neck is specifically made for high-back office chairs. It measures 27 inches in height and uses a securing strap to stay in place. It is not recommended for low-back chairs. You can place it on a wide sofa without the strap. The Comrelax HY-6130 Shiatsu Back Massager is more versatile. Its strap system allows it to fit securely on sofas, chairs, or recliners. Its smaller size makes it easier to move between different seating options. The pad is limited to high-back furniture.
